About House of Pillars

Building a Lasting Culture of Discipleship

House of Pillars equips local churches to make biblical discipleship a continuing part of church life — helping men and women grow in Christlike character, deepen their faith and live it out together.

Through Man of God and Woman of God, we provide a shared framework, a lasting rhythm and practical resources rooted in Scripture, sustained by grace and lived out in Christian community.

Our Story

Rooted in God's Word

House of Pillars exists to help people become formed by God’s Word and build their lives on Christ.

Every resource we create is designed to strengthen faith, develop character, and encourage lasting spiritual growth. Whether through books, discipleship journeys, or practical church resources, our goal is to make biblical discipleship accessible, intentional, and easy to implement.

OUR STORY

Different Journeys. A Shared Calling.

House of Pillars was born in Scandinavia, where different journeys of faith came together through a shared sense of calling.

For some of us, encountering Christ meant leaving behind former careers and ways of life, including decades of experience in creative concept development, organisational change, human development and experience design.

Then, around the same time, we each began to sense a new calling: to rediscover those skills and recognise them as gifts that could be placed in God’s hands and used to serve His Kingdom.

We reached out to Christians who had walked with God for many years, including experienced pastors and people with deep knowledge of Scripture and theology. Together, we brought our different experiences of faith, transformation and stewardship into a shared endeavour.

Our vision is:

Discipleship as a Way of Life

We envision churches where discipleship is woven into everyday life — where God’s Word shapes decisions and relationships, and where people pray together, share honestly, encourage one another and grow in faithfulness to Christ.

A church where spiritual maturity also gives rise to new leaders: men and women who are prepared to serve, take responsibility and help others grow in faith.

Our vision is to help local churches nurture this kind of Christian community, so that discipleship continues, deepens and bears fruit across generations.

Our Foundation

Our Christian and Theological Foundation

Faithful to Scripture. Rooted in Christ.

House of Pillars stands within the historic Christian faith, rooted in a Bible-centred, evangelical understanding of discipleship.

Our vision draws inspiration from the early Church described in Acts 2:42–47, where believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, fellowship, the breaking of bread and prayer. Their faith shaped their relationships and everyday lives.

We believe salvation is a gift of God’s grace through Jesus Christ. Grace comes first; from it flows the call to repentance, obedience and sanctification as the Holy Spirit forms us into the likeness of Christ.

Our team brings experience from Lutheran, Pentecostal and wider evangelical free-church traditions. We serve churches across denominations, respecting their theological traditions and forms of worship.

The local church retains theological and pastoral responsibility for its Journey. House of Pillars provides the framework and resources; the church leads its people in discipleship.
